Buttery Sensations is the result of growing up in a family that looked to natural remedies despite the availability of over the counter products. As one of five children from the union of a Nurse and a Marine. Born in San Diego California and living in Hawaii as a child. Alberta (my mother) was quick to entail the help of aloe from the yard for first aid, hair and skin. In an era of relaxers my mother discouraged the use of chemicals for myself and siblings, only allowing a curling iron to be used once a week. Once I became a mother it was natural instinct to seek healthier options for my six blessings. 

 

I started reading and researching the benefits of Shea Butter in 1989 and was fascinated in the natural beneficial properties. However the store brought products lacked in the amount of shea butter actually included in the product and contained more unnecessary chemicals and cheap fillers. 

 

I attended Gordon Phillips in 1997 to receive certification in Cosmetology. Through my career my concentration has been on the care and maintenance of Natural Hair. I started experimenting and testing natural products for the hair and skin of my  One son and count them FIVE daughters as the elder children entered puberty and I didn't want them to use harsh chemical laden acne products. I started using those natural creations on clients outside my home and in 2012 gave it the name of ButterySensations and started setting up at vending events.   Our products are made with high quality All Natural Ingredients.They contain skin healing ingredients that are safe to the most sensitive skin and scalp plus moisture retention.  We are a family company and continue to manufacture products in small batches to keep the consistency and integrity of the product.
